<p>Gaseous inhalable medicament containing xenon or nitrous oxide as active ingredient for preventing and/or treating neuropathic pain, where the neuropathic pain is induced by at least one cancer chemotherapy substance administered to a patient suffering from cancer, and the cancer chemotherapy substance comprises one or more compounds of platinum salts, taxanes, alkaloids, thalidomide and bortezomib.
