<p>The invention relates to a process for supporting the ditches and foundation pits, for water supply, sewage system and foundations in civil and industrial constructions, as well as for the pits meant for pole foundations, high voltage lines poles included. According to the invention, the process consists in that the ditch and foundation pit support may be made more economically and may offer more safety by means of some inflated cushions (1), which may be manufactured, with various dimensions, of thin wire nets impregnated with rubber or plastics, having the shape of a parallelipipedon with two plane sides parallel with the sides of the ditches or with two sides of the foundation pit and having a length of 2-4 m, the other sides, perpendicular to the first two, having some folds (2) similar to those of an accordion, fact that allows the use of the cushions (1) for supporting ditches and foundation pits of various widths and at the upper part of the cushions (1) there is provided a hose (3) with a valve (4) which is to be connected to a flexible tube (5) of a motor-compressor (6) brought and laid-down on the ground, next to the ditch, the cushions (1) being introduced in non-inflated condition into the ditches intended to accomodate various pipes, or into the foundation pits, then, the flexible hose (3) is connected to the flexible tube (5) of the motor-compressor (6), afterwards the motor-compressor (6) is started and the cushion (4) is inflated, under the workers' supervision workers who, from the surface of the ground, handle it so that it tightly fits onto the two fold-free parallel sides on the ditch walls or on two walls of the foundation pit, while the other two vertical sides of the cushion unfold and spread on the other two walls of the foundation pit, the pressure of only 2 at creating a pushing force of 20 t/m.</p> |
