The present invention relates to a technology for detecting a driving state of a hoist such as the loading amount of the hoist, the number of use, a using period for calculating a replacement period of hoist components. A system for detecting the driving state of the hoist according to the present invention comprises: a current sensor unit connected to a power supply device and outputting the current amount corresponded to the current amount inputted to a driving device of the hoist at a constant ratio; a current amount detecting unit for detecting a current wave type according to changes of the current amount by processing a current signal inputted from the current sensor unit; and a driving state analysis unit for determining the driving state of the hoist by analyzing the current amount detected from the current amount detecting unit and the current wave type.
