PURPOSE: A backup roll exchanger is provided to allow an operator to precisely attach an upper plate to a backup roll due to vertical movement of the upper plate on an inclined surface of a middle plate. CONSTITUTION: A backup roll exchanger comprises a fixing unit(10), a supporting unit(20), and a moving unit(30). The supporting unit is mounted on the fixing unit and supports damaged backup roll. The fixing unit comprises a pair of supporting plates(11) and a rail pipe(12). Both ends of the rail pipe are individually connected to the supporting plates so that the supporting plates are mounted on the rail pipe. |
