The present invention relates to a rib for a cooling passage with some asymmetric side surfaces, and a cooling apparatus and a gas turbine blade having the same capable of performing high heat transferring and cooling by having an asymmetric cross section of the rib. The present invention provides a rib for a cooling passage with some asymmetric side surfaces having a asymmetric cross section, wherein the rib is formed in the inner surface of the cooling passage at a predetermined distance to be vertical to the introducing direction of the cooling passage, including: a front part vertically formed from the inner wall of the cooling passage at the predetermined height; an upper surface part formed to have a predetermined width in the lengthwise direction of the cooling passage from the tip end of the front surface part; a first rear surface part vertically formed at a height lower than the front surface part from the tip end of the upper surface part; and a second rear surface part formed to be inclined from the tip end of the first rear surface part to the inner wall of the cooling passage and to have an obtuse angle with the first rear surface part. |
