<p>The device has a fixed inductive sensor (4) and a placement unit (R) allowing placement of a support assembly (2). A wire (1) is arranged in vicinity of the inductive sensor such that an end (1a) of the wire is located relative to the sensor. The placement unit includes a robot, which places the assembly and the wire in a face to face manner at a predetermined and repetitive position of the sensor. The sensor comprises an induction coil whose axis is parallel to a U-shaped plane formed by a U-shaped common support (6). An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a control device.</p> |
