The present invention relates to a method for determining the state of a blast furnace. The invention comprises a step of: 1) calculating a correlation coefficient between a plurality of quality values of coke and the lower air permeability index of ore quality values in the coke reaction time, and 2) estimating the furnace state index using a score for quality scored within the same standard range with the calculated correlation coefficient in order to determine the state of a blast furnace through the furnace state index.
