A compound function transmission cable is provided to serve as a data transfer medium arranged among a plurality of electronic devices. The compound function transmission cable directly and bi-directionally transmits data with respect to the electronic devices. The compound function transmission cable comprises a substrate, a plurality of transmission unit, and an expansion unit. The transmission units each has two electrical connection terminals. One of the two electrical connection terminals of each of the transmission units is for connection with the electronic devices. The other one of the two electrical connection terminals is connected to the substrate. The expansion unit is mounted on the substrate and the expansion unit is connected via the substrate to the transmission units. The present invention allows bi-directional transmission to be carried out between the expansion unit and the transmission units. |
