The invention relates to a system represented by a neck of a dummy which is used for experimental tests in any field of interest. According to the invention, the system consists of three subassemblies (A1, A2 and A3), the first subassembly (A1) comprises seven cervical vertebrae (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7), each having a certain constructive shape and four intervertebral discs (8, 9, 10 and 11) made of a material having physical, chemical, viscoelastic and mechanical properties compatible to the human intervertebral discs, between the first two vertebrae (C1 and C2) there are no discs, the second subassembly (A2) comprises several flanges (14, 15, 17 and 19) and a driving motor (18) which carries out a rotary motion about its own axis and the third subassembly (A3) comprises some elastic elements (22) made of a shape-memory material which are fixed on the cervical vertebrae (C1...C7), in groups of five, diametrically opposed, on two perpendicular directions, having a certain configuration (C3-C6, C5-C7, C4-C6, C3-C5 and C4-C7), simulating the action of cervical muscles.
|
