A composition is proposed suitable for subcutaneous administration to a mammal, the composition comprises a compound of formula I or a salt thereof dissolved in water, sodium hydroxide and tromethamine and having a pH between about 8.0 and about 9.5. The composition is for use in the treatment of cancer and thromboembolic disorders. A device is also proposed comprising a syringe for administering the composition according to the invention.
