摘要 <p>The invention relates to an assembly for determining the bending moment meant to be used for simulating the deformation of tubes in a nuclear reactor as a result of the operation of the nuclear reaction. According to the invention, the assembly (26) comprises at least one pair of rigid leverage members (28) for coupling with at least a portion of a tube (24), the leverage members (28) extending radially away from the tube portion and being axially spaced apart and secured to an outer surface portion (30) of a tube portion (24), at radially inward portions (32) of the leverage members (28) and a compliant bending moment actuator which extends between the radially outward portions of each pair of leverage members (28), for applying a force between the radially outward portions, where the force application displaces the radially outward portions relative to each other for applying the bending moment to the tube portion extending between the radially inward portions for compliantly deflecting the tube portions.</p>
