The method involves operating a wiper drive between upper and lower turning positions (102, 104) in accordance with a normal operation characteristic section of a characteristic curve for the wiper drive. The wiper drive is operated between the lower turning position and an extended park position (106), where torque of a motor (10) is lowered around 30 percent of motor shaft position torque in a movement region based on the motor shaft position upto another motor shaft position, which corresponds to 10 to 30 percent of change of the former motor shaft position upto the extended park position. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product having a set of instructions for executing a method for operating a wiper drive (2) a controller for a wiper drive. |
