PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight-saving mirror solving a conventional problem that, at using an optical mirror installed in a satellite as a reflector, if a mirror face bore diameter is increased in order to improve resolution, dead weight deformation becomes larger, and as a result, the mirror face accuracy deteriorates, so that normally, one side of an optical mirror is processed to have a ribbed structure for weight saving; however, the ribs of such a weight-saving optical mirror cannot have a metal fitting of a padding (suction cup) type support structure directly mounted thereon, so that a formation of a planar part is required in a metal fitting attachment part of the support structure.SOLUTION: A metal fitting having a support structure that sandwiches a rib, or is inserted into a rib is capable of directly mounting to the rib, eliminating a need of formation of a planar part. A metal fitting to be inserted into a rib becomes mountable through forming a slit in the rib. It is difficult to form a slit through machine work; however, a slit can be easily formed through bonding plates. |
