PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a new external apparatus and display a multi-screen image including an image from the external apparatus, if necessary, even when a concurrently connectable number of external apparatuses have been connected.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a wireless LAN antenna 33 and a wireless LAN interface 31 for inputting image signals transmitted from a plurality of external apparatuses by limiting to a maximum number of apparatuses; projection systems 13 to 25 for creating a multi-screen image by using the plurality of input image signals and projecting the created multi-screen image; a main memory 27 for storing priority levels of the plurality of external apparatuses while successively updating the priority levels; and a CPU 26 for switching the external apparatus where the image signal is input according to the priority levels stored in the main memory 27 if an image signal transmission request is transmitted from a new external apparatus beyond the maximum number of apparatuses. |
