PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel management method, a tunnel management device, and a communication system, enabling a node that starts a tunnel management request to correctly decide a node that causes a failure of a tunnel management request.SOLUTION: A cause value of a failed tunnel management request and node information causing the failed tunneling management request are transmitted in a response message from a tunnel management node to a start node. By this, the start node finds out a node that causes the failed tunneling management request to decide a target for error check. The present embodiment is mainly used in a network device of a communication network. |
