The present invention relates to a steel column of which the height is adjustable and more specifically, to a height-adjustable steel column of which the height can be variously, freely, and conveniently varied so that the steel column can be flexibly applied to various positions. The heath-adjustable steel column according to the present invention comprises a lower column assembly including a lower steel column, a bearing plate coupled to the upper cross section of the lower steel column, and a lower connecting pipe which is coupled to the upper surface of the bearing plate and is extended in the longitudinal direction of the lower steel column; an upper column assembly including an upper steel column and an upper connecting pipe coupled to be longitudinally extended from the lower side of the upper steel column, installed at the upper side of the lower column assembly by connecting the upper connecting pipe to be fit to the lower connecting pipe of the lower column assembly, and installed by adjusting a height while adjusting a position in which the upper connecting pipe is coupled to be fit to the lower connecting pipe of the lower column assembly; and a filler filled inside the lower connecting pipe of the lower column assembly and the upper connecting pipe of the upper column assembly above the bearing plate of the lower column assembly, and then integrating the lower column assembly and the upper column assembly when the upper connecting pipe of the upper column assembly is coupled to be fit to the lower connecting pipe of the lower column assembly. |
