PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester capable of smoothly carrying out harvesting work without causing any clogging even when harvesting long plants.SOLUTION: A harvester includes a mowing-and-throwing-out device disposed at one side position of a running machine body and another mowing-and-throwing-out device disposed at another side position of the running machine body. The mowing-and-throwing-out devices mow plants to be harvested at their stem bases and throw out the mown plants backward in a sweeping manner. In this process, the mown plants are drawn from the right and left to the center of the machine body and gathered from the center of the machine body to the back. The plants then pass through a space formed in the center of a gate-shaped frame and placed with their top falling down in a forward direction and their bottom falling down in a backward direction to carry out lodging work. Thus even long plans can smoothly be applied to a harvesting process. |
