PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which is excellent in inductance characteristics, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electronic component.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 includes: an insulating substrate 2 in which a plurality of insulating layers L1 to L3 are laminated, and a storage space 3 is formed; a magnetic substance 4 stored in the storage space 3; and coil patterns 5a and 5b formed in the insulating substrate 2 such that the magnetic substance 4 is wound. A gap is disposed between the outer surface of the magnetic substance 4 and the wall surface of the insulating substrate 2 appearing in the storage space 3 so that it is possible to suppress a pressure which the magnetic substance 4 receives from the insulating substrate 2. Thus, it is possible to increase the value of inductance to be generated by the electronic component 1. |
