PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of suppressing a modular plug from being carelessly extracted from a modular jack even when a modular plug whose lock claw is damaged is used.SOLUTION: Electronic equipment includes: a modular jack having an insertion port into/from which a modular plug is inserted/extracted; an opening formed on a casing wall surface such that the insertion port can be exposed; and a lock member. The lock member includes: a main body section disposed so as to freely slide on the wall surface, and so as to be movable between a retreat position and a lock position; and a pressurization section configured so as to be isolated from the plug main body in a state that the main body section is at the retreat position, and to pressurize the first site of the plug main body when the main body section is operated to slide to the lock position. When the first site of the plug main body is pressurized by the pressurization section, at least one of the marginal part of the insertion port and the marginal part of the opening is pressurized by a second site different from the first site, and the plug main body is sandwiched between the marginal part pressurized by the second site and the pressurization section so as to be locked. |
