PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of continuously outputting printed matters of the same job to recording media having the same kind and the same characteristic.SOLUTION: This invention is an image forming apparatus including: a recording medium information reading part for reading first recording medium information of a recording medium to be loaded in any of recording medium storing parts; a recording medium information storing part for storing one or a plurality of pieces of second recording medium information registered in advance; a recording medium storing part setting information storing part for storing setting information obtained by associating each recording medium storing part with recording medium information of a recording medium to be stored; and a recording medium information comparison and determination part for comparing the second recording medium information with the first recording medium information, referring to the recording medium storing part setting information storing part in the case that the second recording medium corresponding to the first recording medium information exists, and reporting the recording medium storing part corresponding to the first recording medium information. |
