PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which when displaying a character, a diagram or the like on a screen, information for the character, the diagram or the like, useful for a user can be notified of.SOLUTION: A display device includes: storage means for storing character string data for drawing a character accompanied by coordinate information for controlling a display position, and line segment data including vector information for drawing a segment constituting a diagram or the like; display means for displaying a character, a diagram or the like on the basis of the character string data or the line segment data stored in the storage means; enlargement/reduction means capable of displaying a character, a diagram or the like in an enlarged/reduced manner on the basis of the character data or the line segment data stored in the storage means; and intensified display means for intensified-displaying, when displaying a character, a diagram or the like in an enlarged/reduced manner on the display means, a line segment constituting the character, the diagram or the like on the basis of information intensity of a line segment constituting a character, a diagram or the like positioned in a display object area. |
