<p>A suspension device having a suspension member (2) attached to a vehicle body frame by elastic bodies (4FL, 4FR, 4RL, 4RR) in four corners, and having vehicle wheels (1) suspended by suspension links (5) at both vehicle-widthwise ends of the suspension member (2); wherein the elastic bodies (4FL, 4FR, 4RL, 4RR) are disposed so that alpha directions having low elastic coefficients are directed toward an intersection point (O3), the point (O3) being the intersection point between a line (L1) that joins horizontal moment centers (O1L, O1R) of the left and right suspension links (5), and a line (L2) that joins an intermediate point (O2F) between the front elastic bodies (4FL, 4FR) and an intermediate point (O2R) between the rear elastic bodies (4RL, 4RR). By increasing the elastic coefficients in beta directions orthogonal to the alpha directions and increasing the support rigidity of the suspension member (2) about the intersection point (O3), the elastic bodies (4FL, 4FR, 4RL, 4RR) suppress swinging of the suspension member (2) about the intersection point (O3) due to drive force (Dr) (or braking force).</p> |
