PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing use excellent in offset printability, ink absorbability from an inkjet printing device, image water proofness from the inkjet printing device using water-based dye ink, and scratch resistance and prevention property of print unevenness of images from the inkjet printing device using a water-based pigment ink.SOLUTION: A coated paper for printing use has a coated layer containing a pigment and a binder as active ingredients on at least one side of raw paper, and the coated layer contains an acetylene glycol derivative, a cationic compound, and a dog fang-shape light calcium carbonate having a minor diameter of 0.1 μm to 0.5 μm and a major diameter of 0.5 μm to 2.5 μm as a pigment and has a Cobb water absorbing capacity with a contact time of 30 seconds by a Cobb method defined in JIS P-8140 of 51 g/mor more. |
