PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw capable of effectively suppressing intrusion of fine foreign materials into between a male member and a female member while more reducing sliding resistance than ever before when a seal material is brought into contact with an outer peripheral face of the male member.SOLUTION: A seal material 4 capable of tightly sealing an outer peripheral face 6 of a male member 2 screwed to a female member 3, includes an annular mounting portion 14 which can be mounted on the female member 3, and an annular seal body 15 extending from the mounting portion 14, and capable of applying prescribed elastic force to an outer peripheral face 6 by being in contact with an outer peripheral face 6 of the male member 2. The seal body 15 is bent according to the outer peripheral face 6 in contact therewith, and at least a part in contact with the outer peripheral face 6 of the male member 2, of the seal body 15 is composed of a fiber layer made of a fiber impregnated with rubber or resin. |
