PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-contrast optical semiconductor device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an optical semiconductor device comprises: a first process for forming a plurality of conductive members mutually separated on a support substrate; a second process for forming a substrate that comprises a plurality of recesses capable of placing an optical semiconductor element and a groove between adjacent recesses, and is made of first resin; a third process for filling the groove with second resin having an optical absorption coefficient larger than that of the first resin; and a fourth process for removing the support substrate and cutting a region including the second resin to divide the optical semiconductor device into individual pieces. |
