The goggles have two frame elements (2) each comprising a transparent disk at a front edge and a flexible contact surface at a rear edge for watertight sealing of sides of two eye sockets (5). A retaining strap is arranged at the side of each frame element for holding the frame element, where the strap is adjustable in length. Reflective surfaces (12) are arranged at the frame elements and/or at the transparent disk such that water surface in front of a backswimming person (14) lying in water (13) in swimming direction (S) falls within the range of vision of the backswimming person.
