The rotor (10) has a recess (16) for receiving a permanent magnet (18). The permanent magnet is arranged together with a clamping element (20) in the recess. The clamping element is extended along an extending direction of the permanent magnet in the recess such that the permanent magnet is partially enclosed by the clamping element. The recess is provided with a rectangular or V-shaped surface area. An independent claim is included for an assembling method for fixing permanent magnet in recess of rotor of electrical machine.
