The window- or facade element (1) has a window frame (2) and a casement (3), between which a rebate space (5) extending in the circumferential direction is provided with a sealing profile (6) integrated with a longitudinal channel (13,14). A heating element (16) is integrated in the longitudinal channel of an adapter profile (7) for heating the rebate space. The heating element is formed as a heating coil, while the solar- or photovoltaic elements (18) are arranged outside the window- or facade element. The solar energy is converted as electrical energy in the solar- or photovoltaic elements.
