PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying device 14 capable of suppressing an adverse effect to the formation of an image by reducing the deviation and remaining of a discharge product inside.SOLUTION: The electrifying device 14 includes a discharge electrode 52 performing non-contact discharge with respect to an image carrier 13 and a housing 51 storing the discharge electrode 52. The discharge electrode 52 and the housing 51 are extended along the axis of rotation of the image carrier 13. A plurality of intake ports 61 through which air flows into the housing 51 are formed at one longitudinal end of the housing 51. An exhaust port 62 from which the air in the housing 51 flows out is formed at the other longitudinal end of the housing 51. In the housing 51, an air guide member 70 applying the directivity of a flow going to the image carrier 13 to the air flowing in from each intake port 61 is provided for each of places of the intake ports 61. |
