PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slitter knife which is inexpensive and has a long life.SOLUTION: A slitter knife 10 is formed of a first steel and a clad steel which consists of a second steel having a smaller crystal grain size than the first steel. The slitter knife 10 comprises a middle layer 14 which consists of the first steel and a pair of outer layers 16,16 which are arranged on both sides of the middle layer 14 and consist of the second steel. The pair of outer layers 16,16 are formed in a symmetrical shape sandwiching the middle layer 14, and cutting blade 18 is provided for both outer layers 16,16. |
