PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle drive device, which reduces deterioration of drivability due to increase of driving force with electric power generation when an engine actuates an electric motor and the electric motor generates power.SOLUTION: When an engine 12 actuates an electric motor MG and the electric motor MG generates power, if a driving force generated by a torque which is obtained by subtracting a power generation torque required for power generation of the electric motor MG from an engine torque calculated based on a required electric power Egn generated by the electric motor MG is greater than a target driving force calculated based on the vehicle state, an electronic control device 58 up-shifts an automatic transmission 18. Thereby, a torque transmitted to a driving wheel 24 is controlled by upshift of the automatic transmission 18 so as to cancel increase of the engine torque, so that when the engine 12 actuates the electric motor MG and the electric motor MG generates power, deterioration of the drivability is reduced. |
