摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical article including an antistatic coating that has a low haze, extremely good antistatic property, extremely good hardness and abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: The optical article has at least one surface including an antistatic coating that is obtained by depositing and curing the following curable composition on a base body. The curable composition comprises (a) at least one conductive polymer, (b) colloidal particles of at least one non-conductive oxide, and (c) at least one binder comprising at least one epoxysilane having at least two hydrolyzable groups directly linked to a Si atom and/or a hydrolysis product of the epoxysilane. In the curable composition, the at least one conductive polymer and the colloidal particles of the at least one non-conductive oxide are substantially not agglomerated; the content of the at least one conductive polymer in a dry extract of the curable composition ranges from 0.1 to 5 mass% with respect to the total mass of the dry extract of the curable composition; the content of the at least one non-conductive oxide in the dry extract of the curable composition ranges from 10 to 40 mass% with respect to the total mass of the dry extract of the curable composition; and the content of the dry extract of the at least one epoxysilane in the dry extract of the curable composition ranges from 20 to 80 mass% with respect to the total mass of the dry extract of the curable composition. The optical article has a haze value of less than 0.5% measured by light transmission using a Haze-Guard Plus haze meter manufactured by BYK-Gardner Company, according to the method specified in ASTM D1003-00.
