PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high-reliability power line carrier communication.SOLUTION: A power line carrier communication system comprises: a trunk power line PL 1 for supplying commercial power reduced in voltage by a transformer T1, to a home; a watt-hour meter 10 connected to the trunk power line PL 1; an in-home power line PL 2 connected to the watt-hour meter 10 for supplying the commercial power supplied via the trunk power line PL 1 to an electrical appliance 40 and a terminal 50 connected under control of an in-home distribution board 20; and the in-home distribution board 20. The watt-hour meter 10 then comprises: a trunk communication unit 11 for performing power line carrier communication via the trunk power line PL 1; and a home communication unit 12 for performing the power line carrier communication via the in-home power line PL 2. |
