PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder that can pull waste papers sequentially from the bottom layer of the papers to the top into an insertion opening to be cut out even when standard size waste papers mix with waste papers smaller than the standard size.SOLUTION: In a housing space 4 for waste papers, a guide roller 52 for supplying the waste papers in a direction of a shredder cutter is arranged. The housing space 4 for waste papers has a space in which standard waste papers, having paper width equivalent to the width of the housing space for waste papers and nonstandard waste papers, having paper width smaller than that of the standard waste papers, can be layered and housed. The shaft diameter L of the guide roller 52 is set to a shaft diameter with which when the nonstandard waste papers are lapped under the standard waste papers, the guide roller does not contact the standard waste papers. |
