PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and grade a functional property of a used metal tube for the entire or partial length of the tube according to a region in a body to be applied, and provide a stent having an excellent operability, a detention performance and a restenosis preventive function by utilizing the metal tube.SOLUTION: A material obtained by cladding a core material and a skin material is given a high dislocation density by severe deformation in a tube diameter reducing process. The obtained material is heat-treated to obtain a functionally graded metal tube having a rigidity different from region to region. |
