The system (10) has a fuel cell (12) and a pressurized air conveyor (16) for providing compressed air to the fuel cell having an operating pressure. Another pressurized air conveyor (22) is utilized for providing compressed air at a pressure higher than operating pressure of the fuel cell. The latter pressurized air conveyor has a storage volume (20) for storing the compressed air at the higher pressure. An air suspension system is provided for the former pressurized air conveyor and the latter pressurized air conveyor.
