The present disclosure provides a synergistic composition that supports the inhibition of cartilage degradation in degenerative joint disease. The synergistic composition includes at least one A. paniculata extract; at least one ginger rhizome extract; and, a glucosamine compound. Methods and compositions for use of the composition are also disclosed herein.
