<p>An alternator comprises an engine (1) as a power source, two multipolar high frequency generators (M1, M2) having different magnetic pole numbers, a high frequency rectification circuit (8), a conductive ring (5), carbon brushes (6) and a bridge type low frequency commutation circuit (9). Rotors of the two multipolar high frequency generators (M1, M2) are mounted on a same rotor shaft (2) driven by the engine (1). The conductive ring (5) is also mounted on the rotor shaft (2) and is contacted with the carbon brushes (6). Rotor coils of the two generators (M1, M2) are connected in series and connected to an input terminal of the high frequency rectification circuit (8). A sine wave alternating current is output by the high frequency rectification circuit (8) in turn through the conductive ring (5), the carbon brushes (6) and the bridge type low frequency commutation circuit (9), or in turn through the bridge type low frequency commutation circuit (9), the conductive ring (5) and the carbon brushes (6). The alternator has small waveform distortion.</p> |
