PURPOSE: An air intake cooling device is provided to obtain a cooling device of a simple structure which supplies only pure air to an indoor space, thereby saving energy and reducing costs for manufacture and installation. CONSTITUTION: An air intake cooling device comprises a housing unit(110), an air inlet(111), an upper outlet(112), an upper fan(120), an indoor temperature sensor, an outdoor air temperature sensor, a control panel, and a switching module. The upper fan forcibly inhales outdoor air from the air inlet, thereby forcibly blowing the same to the upper outlet. The control panel outputs signals for controlling the operation of the upper fan when indoor temperature is higher than first preset temperature and outdoor temperature is lower than second preset temperature. The control panel outputs signals for stopping the operation of the upper fan when the outdoor temperature is higher the second preset temperature. The switching module ON/OFF controls a power supply to the upper fan from a power supplying unit based on the signals for controlling and stopping the operation of the upper fan. |
