PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a solid fuel in which the solid fuel is mainly produced from organic refuse such as sewage sludge and RPF production raw material and where bad odor is hardly generated.SOLUTION: A production method of a solid fuel 17 includes: an aging process in which an organic refuse 12 in which a moisture percentage content is adjusted to exceeding 10 mass% and less than 60 mass% and is held in a temperature atmosphere of exceeding 15°C and less than 80°C for exceeding 6 hours and less than 168 hours to obtain an aging refuse 13; a mixing process in which a mixed raw material 15 including the aging refuse 13 and RPF production raw material 14 is obtained; and a molding process in which a molded body 16 is obtained from the mixed raw material 15.
