PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a substantially volatile compound-free polymer product by providing a process which removes the volatile compound from a liquid containing at least one polymer, preferably at least one synthetic rubber, and which is continuous, excellent in energy efficiency, and acceptable for environment and economy.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the water and solvent-free polymer, in particular a water and solvent-free synthetic rubber product like non-halogenated and halogenated butyl rubber products, and to provide a method for production of the water and solvent-free polymer. This invention further relates to an apparatus suitable to performing the process. The apparatus includes at least a concentrator unit, a heating unit and an extruder unit. |
