PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money management apparatus in which overuse can be prevented without deteriorating convenience of a user.SOLUTION: An electronic money management apparatus includes, for functions as a management device for managing use of electronic money in response to a settlement request from a reading device of electronic money information in a portable phone: a limit amount setting unit 101 for setting a use limit amount for one day; a use amount accumulation unit 104 for calculating a total sum of the use amount from the beginning of the one day; a settlement determination unit 105 for comparing a total sum of the use amount from the beginning of the one day with a use limit amount set for the day to thereby determine whether or not settlement processing is approved; and a settlement processing unit 106 and a settlement limit unit 107, for controlling execution of settlement processing in accordance with a determination result. The settlement limit unit 107 causes, when the settlement processing is not approved, the portable phone to be in a settlement inhibited state in response to the settlement request from the reading device. |
