PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature point extraction method for a photographed image and a feature point extraction device capable of discriminating a feature point of an image easily and reliably.SOLUTION: An image analysis part 20 of a feature point extraction device 1 sets at least one of filter coefficients of a filter in two-dimensional folding processing as a complex number, and besides, selects a filter as a cyclic complex number value with respect to a phase of polar coordinates whose original point is set to the center of the filter, applies two-dimensional folding processing by means of a filter to a photographed image, and searches behavior of each pixel of a complex number image output as a result of the folding processing so as to extract a feature point of the photographed image. Thereby, a feature point of a photographed image can be extracted easily and reliably without changing conventional two-dimensional folding processing and processing speed. |
