PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt battery system which is a power supply device having a molten salt battery adopted for it as a secondary battery, said system being easy to manage from startup preparation to maintenance and operation.SOLUTION: A molten salt battery system 200 of the present invention comprises: a battery pack 100 of molten salt batteries charged by an external power source PS1 and using a molten salt as electrolyte; a heater 140 for heating the battery pack 100 and capable of receiving supply of power from the external power source PS1; and a control device 190 capable of controlling the charging/discharging of the battery pack 100 and the conduction of power to the heater 140 upon receiving an instruction from an external control server 400. The control device 190 supplies information about the temperature, open-circuit voltage, charge/discharge current, etc. of the battery pack 100 to the control server 400.
