PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can more easily perform the reliability test for a display module than conventional one.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a display unit that displays an image according to a display signal, a driver circuit that controls the display unit, and a plurality of wires through which potentials or a signals are input from terminals and which includes a switch signal line that is electrically connected to the control unit and a data line for transmitting display data. The driver circuit includes a test signal generation unit that outputs a display signal used for a test, a switching unit that outputs one of the display signal based on the display data and the display signal output from the test signal generation unit selectively to the display unit, and a control unit that controls so that the switching unit outputs the display signal output from the test signal generation unit to the display unit when a predetermined switch signal is not input from the switch signal line. |
