PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method which is excellent not only for fixing but also for releasing the fixing.SOLUTION: A fixing method is one for fixing an object 10. A device for this fixing method comprises: a body 1 having a base 1A, a female screw hole 1C formed in the base 1A and a wall surface 1B having a relation orthogonal to the base 1A; an outer face abutting member 13 having a through hole 13D and a retained portion 13a facing the through hole 13D; and a retaining member 15 extending through the through hole 13D and formed, at its leading end, with a male screw portion 15A to mesh with the female thread of the female screw hole 1C and, at its trailing end, with a retaining portion 15B for retaining the retained portion 13a. The center of the through hole 13D and the center of the female screw hole 1c are offset from each other. The object 10 is positioned between the wall surface 1B and the outer face abutting member 13. The retaining member 15 is moved forward to the female screw hole 1C. The outer face abutting member 13 is moved toward the wall surface 1B and is forced onto the wall surface 1B through the object 10 thereby to fix the object 10. |
