The invention relates to a toilet cleaner (1) for receiving solid or gel preparations, comprising a plurality of containers (3a,3b,3c,3d), which are arranged in a row relative to one another with respect to the longitudinal central axis M of the toilet cleaner, for receiving at least one preparation (4a,4b,4c,4d). The containers (3a,3b,3c,3d) can be positioned below the toilet rim (10) such that flushing water can flow over the containers when the toilet (9) is flushed, and at least one inlet opening (5a,5b,5c,5d) and outlet opening (6a,6b,6c,6d) are formed in each container wall (7) for the flushing water. The toilet cleaner also comprises a holder (2) for fixing the toilet cleaner (1) on the toilet rim (10). A flushing water conducting element (8) is arranged and configured on the toilet cleaner (1) such that flushing water is supplied to the flushing water conducting element (8) when the toilet is flushed and the flushing water is conducted to the inlet opening (5a,5b,5c,5d) of the container (3a,3b,3c,3d).
