PURPOSE: A chamfering machine for a pipe is provided to chamfer the ends of workpieces by rotating an abrasive member at high speed, thereby easily and fast processing a large amount of workpieces. CONSTITUTION: A chamfering machine for a pipe comprises a case (3), a pivotable support (11), a first driver, a polishing unit (17), a second driver and a unit for fixing a workpiece (21). The pivotable support is installed in the case to be vertical to the ground. The pivotable support is installed to rotate with the axis of its own around a first axis parallel to the ground. The first driver rotates the axis of the pivotable support around the first axis. The polishing unit is installed on the pivotable support in order to rotate with the axis of its own around a second axis. The polishing unit bends an abrasive member (19). The second driver drives the unit for fixing a workpiece and the polishing unit. The unit for fixing a workpiece fixes a workpiece (P) while the end of the workpiece is facing the polishing unit. |
