<p>A fiber produced by melt spinning a composition comprising an intimate admixture of (a) a thermoplastic starch; (b) a thermoplastic polymer; and (c) an oil, wax, or combination thereof present in an amount of 5 wt% to 40 wt%, based upon the total weight of the composition and where the oil, wax, or combination is dispersed through-out the thermoplastic polymer.</p> |
