Production of precision cast involves preparing embedding compound by mixing a ceramic powder mixture containing a phosphate-containing binder and zirconium carbide with a colloid or gelling agent, adding the embedding compound into a container, in which an impression of the cast is to be made from a wax or a plastic material, and heating. The precision cast comprises a liquid alloy chosen from cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, cobalt-chromium-tungsten alloy, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy and gold-based alloy.
